Chena Hot Springs Resort offers a selection of packages as a convenience to guests. They make it easy for guests to determine where their interests lie, and purchase the package with those elements included, i.e. Aurora Viewing or Dog Sled Rides. Due to the costs associated with creating, marketing and selling packages, some packages may be higher priced than if the guest planned their own itinerary and purchased the elements a`la carte online or at the resort. 

Santa Adventure Only operates ONE weekend in December! 4 Day / 3 Night Valid December 1-4, 2011 Must book at least 72 hours in advance.

DAY ONE  Thursday, December 1, 2011

PM             Arrive Fairbanks from your city on Alaska Airlines and transfer to Springhill Suites by Marriott via hotel shuttle and check in. Dinner on own.

DAY TWO  Friday, December 2, 2011

8:30 AM      Complimentary continental breakfast at Springhill Suites by Marriott. Check out. Bags in lobby

9:30 AM      Transfer via Chena Shuttle to Santa Claus House Gift Shop in North Pole for visit with Santa Claus

12:00 PM    Transfer via Chena Shuttle to University of Alaska Museum of the North for pizza party, mini guided tour & aurora movie

3:30 PM      Transfer via Chena Shuttle to Chena Hot Springs Resort. Arrive at 5:00PM and check in

5:30 PM      Dinner buffet in resort restaurant Aurora Room

7:00 PM      Aurora Ice Museum tour

7:45 PM      Sign up for your Dog Sled ride time slot at Activity Center for next day (10A, 10:20A, 10:40A, 11A, etc.)

8:00 PM      Remainder of evening free to enjoy indoor family pool and hot tubs OR

PM                 Optional Snow Coach Aurora Viewing Tour additional $75pp child rate $37.50pp (ages 12 & under). Check in Activity Center

DAY THREE  Saturday, December 3, 2011

7:00 AM      Breakfast buffet in Aurora Room from 7-9am

10A-12N      Walk to Chena Kennel for your scheduled Sled Dog Ride time booked the day before at Activity Center

11:30 AM    Lunch buffet in Aurora Room from 11:30am-1:30pm

2:30 PM      Meet inside Activity Center for Kid’s Treasure Hunt & Kid’s Activities

4:00 PM      Geothermal Renewable Energy Tour while kids watch movie in Aurora Café if preferred

5:00 PM      Dinner buffet in resort restaurant Aurora Room from 5-7pm

7:15 PM      Evening holiday movie with elves, Polar Express book reading, letter writing to Santa, Christmas carols & cookies

8:15 PM      North Pole Santa arrives, Q & A w/ Santa, letter reading, family photos w/ Santa & book signing

12:00 PM    Depart Fairbanks AS 184 arrive Anchorage @1:04 PM

2:30 PM      Depart Anchorage AS 92 arrive Seattle @ 6:52 PM

(Or you may depart Fairbanks airport on non-stop flight AS 124 @ 8:40 AM arriving in Seattle at 1:15 PM for better connections in lower 48. You would need to depart Chena Hot Springs Resort at 5:30 AM)
