FREE DAILY 2PM GEOTHERMAL RENEWABLE ENERGY TOUR
In addition to our relaxing hot springs, a free daily geothermal renewable energy tour offers guests an opportunity to learn more about our energy saving projects. Simply check-in at the Activity Center by 1:45PM and sign up for the one hour tour.
NATURAL HOT SPRINGS, FAMILY POOL, AND HOT TUBS

Natural Outdoor Adult Rock Lake is only available to persons ages 18 and over.
AURORA ICE MUSEUM TOURS
Chena Hot Springs Resort is home to the world’s largest year-round ice museum in the world, the Aurora Ice Museum! It was completed in January 2005 and stays a cool 20 degrees Fahrenheit inside year round. Keeping the museum icy cold in the heat of summer comes from the patented absorption chiller, the first of its kind in the world used for this purpose!
Daily tours are offered at 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm 7pm & *9pm. *9pm tour subject to availability.
Please purchase tour tickets at the Activity Center Desk at least 10 minutes prior to start of tour.

DOG CART RIDES
The Chena Sled Dog Kennel operates year round offering guests a truly Alaskan adventure during any season. Throughout the sunny, snowless, summer months, guests get to experience the traditional winter Alaskan sport of dog mushing. Guests get to witness a team of working Alaskan Huskies hooked up in the same fashion as is done in the winter time; however, in place of the snow sled, a custom build wheeled cart is used!

KENNEL TOURS
The Chena Sled Dog Kennel tour is your chance to chat with an experienced musher. Your guide will teach you about the sport, sharing knowledge and answering any questions you may have. You will be introduced to some amazing Alaskan Huskies, learn about this fascinating breed, and tour a working mushing kennel of over 50 dogs. The educational visitor center is a great place to warm up in the cool winter months, or to get a break from the sun during the sunny summer months. You will walk away from this tour with an abundance of dog mushing knowledge.

FLIGHTSEEING
Mt. Deborah Glacier Flight $375+ per person
Take a 2 hour flightseeing tour to Mt. Deborah. Fly south past Granite Tors and the gold rich Salcha River. Cross the Trans-Alaska Pipeline and big Delta River to the north side of the Alaska Range. See glaciers and ice falls. Flightseeing around the Resort offered at $200 per hour/per person
All flights require a FOUR passenger minimum
THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE
One of the finest ways to relax and relieve stress is through massage therapy. Jake Johnson is Chena Hot Springs nationally licensed massage therapist. He is a recent graduate of the Utah Collage of Massage Therapy and is licensed by the National Cartification Board for Massage and Bodywork. Jake is able to customize a massage for your particular needs.
Appointments can be made 7 days a week from 10:00am to 8:00pm at the Chena Hot Springs Pool Desk.
Swedish Massage
A light flowing massage that reduces pain and joint stiffness by increasing circulation. A great way to relax and de-stress!
Reflexology
A type of massage based on the principle that there are relflexes in the hands and feet that relate to every organ, gland, and system of the body.
Cranial/Sacral Therapy
A series of light tough techniques to the cranium to maximize the flow of spinal fluid. Used for relaxation, stress relief, and to alleviate headaches.
Russian Massage
A very structured massage mixing fast and slow with deep and light strokes. This modality increases muscle tone and performance.
Deep Tissue Massage
This type of massage uses harder strokes to alleviate pain and tension.
Detoxifying Body Wrap
Starts with a full body Swedish Massage followed by a body wrap for 20 minutes that detoxifies and cleanses the body. A cranial or foot massage will accompany the 20 minute wrap. Body wraps are a great way to pamper yourself after a long day of traveling.
Lavender Hand & Foot Treatment
Hand & foot massage followed by a lavender paraffin dip and detoxifying hand/foot wrap. Followed up with more massage using soothing essential lavender oil lotion. Perfect for those suffering with arthritis or painful joints.

HORSEBACK TOURS
There is no better way to view the beauty of our peaceful and scenic trails at Chena Hot Springs Resort than on horseback. Our well trained and quiet natured horses will delight everyone from the first time rider, to the well seasoned horseman. Half hour and hour rides available. Close toed shoes required. Riders must be over 4 feet tall, and less than 300 pounds to ride. Children ages 7 – 14 with an adult attending the ride.

KID'S HORSEBACK RIDES
This is the perfect first time horseback ride for our younger guests. Your child will be led around a 15 minute trail on one of our gentle, quiet horses. You have the option to follow along and take photos, or to enjoy your 15 minutes of peace!

RAFTING
Take a trip down the Little Chena and experience the waters. Nature lovers will enjoy this too as you might possibly see Moose, Beaver, Bald Eagles and occasionally Bears.
Rafting trips are usually 3-4hrs long.
