  • Each pass includes the hot springs rock lake (adults 18+ only), indoor heated family pool, and both outdoor and indoor hot tubs, plus use of the locker area and shower facilities.



In addition to our relaxing hot springs, we offer free daily geothermal renewable energy tours for guests to learn more about our energy saving projects. Simply check-in at the Activity Center by 1:45 PM and 3:45 PM to sign up for the one hour tour.



The highly anticipated Chena Hot Springs Disc Golf Course is currently under construction and is scheduled for completion by summer, 2014.  The course is currently NOT ready for disc golfers but please stay tuned for updates!


Aurora Ice Museum Tours


Chena Hot Springs Resort is home to the world’s largest year-round ice museum in the world, the Aurora Ice Museum! It was completed in January 2005 and stays a cool 25 degrees Fahrenheit inside year round. Keeping the museum icy cold in the heat of summer comes from the patented absorption chiller, the first of its kind in the world used for this purpose!

Daily tours are offered at 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm & 7pm.

Please purchase tour tickets at the Activity Center Desk at least 15 minutes prior to start of tour.

Tour Prices:

Adult (ages 18+) $15,

Youth (ages 6-17) $10,

Children 5 & under free with paying adult.

3 Day Ice Carving Workshop Prices:

Three day class with three night accommodations for ONE student, including meals, is $2,100.

Three day class with three night accommodations for TWO or more students, including meals, is $1,850 per student. (Maximum class size: FOUR students)



The Chena Sled Dog Kennel operates year round offering guests a truly Alaskan adventure during any season. Throughout the sunny, snowless, summer months, guests get to experience the traditional winter Alaskan sport of dog mushing. Guests get to witness a team of working Alaskan Huskies hooked up to a dog cart in the same fashion as is done in the winter time; however, in place of the snow sled, a custom build wheeled cart is used! Enjoy the 1 and 1/2 mile trail ride!

Price: $60 per adult 18+ / $30 Youth (ages 6-17) & Children ages 5 and under free with paying adult 


The Chena Sled Dog Kennel tour is your chance to chat with an experienced musher. Your guide will teach you about the sport, sharing knowledge and answering any questions you may have. You will be introduced to some amazing Alaskan Huskies, learn about this fascinating breed, and tour a working mushing kennel of over 50 dogs. The educational visitor center is a great place to warm up in the cool winter months, or to get a break from the sun during the sunny summer months. You will walk away from this tour with an abundance of dog mushing knowledge.

Price: Adults $20 (18+) / Youth $10 (ages 6-17 years) Children 5 & under free with paying adult


Arctic Circle / Beaver Village $440 per person (Approx. 4 hours)

Fly north over the Arctic wilderness across the Arctic Circle. Land on the native village of Beaver which welcomes you to share the Alaskan Experience. (45 minute guided ground tour at the village). All flights require a FOUR passenger minimum. No Youth or Children rates available.

Float Plane Landing on Yukon River available in Summer only $490 per person.

Glacier Tour to Mr. Deborah $390 per person (Approx. 2 1/2 hours)

Fly south past the Granite Tours and gold rich Salcha River. Cross the Trans-Alaska Pipeline and Big Delta River to the North side of the Alaska Range. All flights require a FOUR passenger minimum. No Youth or Children rates available.

Float Plane Landing $275 per person (Approx. 2 hours - Currently NOT operational)

Fly over scenic mountains to a lake within 55 miles of Resort. A momentary landing on a remote lake. All flights require a FOUR passenger minimum. No Youth or Children rates available.

Chena Hills-Angel Rocks/Autumn Colors $99+ per person (Approx. 30 minutes)

Flightseeing around the Resort offered at $99+ per hour/per person. All flights require a FOUR passenger minimum. No Youth or Children rates available.

There is no better way to view the beauty of our peaceful and scenic trails at Chena Hot Springs Resort than on horseback. Our well trained and quiet natured horses will delight everyone from the first time rider, to the well seasoned horseman. Half hour and hour rides available. Close toed shoes required. Riders must be over 4.5 feet tall, and less than 245 pounds to ride. Children ages 7 – 14 with an adult attending the ride.

Half hour rides: Adult 18+ $50 / Youth 10-17 $25 with paying adult

Hour rides: Adult 18+ $80 / Youth ages 14-17 $40 with paying adult



This is the perfect first time horseback ride for our younger guests. Your child will be led around a 15 minute trail on one of our gentle, beautiful ponies. You have the option to follow along and take photos, or to enjoy your 15 minutes of peace!

Children ages 3-7 (minimum 3.5 feet tall height requirement)- 15 minutes $25
