Dog sledding is woven into Alaska's history and remains one of the most iconic experiences of the North. This guided ride takes you along our scenic Nature Trail, pulled by a team of powerful, well-trained Alaskan sled dogs bred for endurance and heart.
Feel the surge of the team as they lean into their harnesses and move across the snow. Along the way, you'll have the chance to meet the dogs, learn about mushing traditions, and experience firsthand the energy and spirit that define this uniquely Alaskan adventure.

Check in 25-30 min early, meet your musher, enjoy a 10-15 min sled ride, photos with the team, warm up inside!
If you haven't signed your waiver, please check in 30 minutes before your tour at the Activities Desk. If your waiver is completed online, check in 25 minutes before your tour at the Dog Yard Visitor Center, located at the kennel about a 10-minute walk from the main resort area.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your scheduled tour receive a full refund or credit. Refunds are also issued in the event of operator cancellation due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. No-shows and late arrivals may be charged in full.
The experience lasts about 20 minutes and follows a scenic 1.5-mile trail (approximately 2.4 km), including brief instructions before the ride.
Dress for the weather. Warm gloves and a hat are recommended, especially during colder months.
Dog sledding runs during the winter season when there is sufficient snow, typically from mid-November through early April.
Yes. After your ride, you'll have time to meet the huskies, take photos, and learn more about them.
